Designed to offer player's additional opportunities to improve their soccer skills beyond regular team practices and games. These programs are intended to elevate the player's abilities, soccer knowledge, and proficiency in specific aspects of the game, enabling them to excel in their soccer pathway.

These programs are customized to address current soccer trends, advanced techniques, or specialized skills, ensuring that participants remain competitive and adaptable in the ever-evolving world of soccer.

Athlete of excellence:

Speed & Soccer training

(u9-U11)

With Director of Sports Performance, Mario Suarez

This five-week Speed & Soccer Clinic combines athletic performance training with technical soccer development. Each session includes:

30 minutes of speed & body management

  • Proprioceptive training to enhance coordination, balance, and spatial awareness
  • Speed and explosiveness training, including acceleration/deceleration, multidirectional speed, and plyometrics

60 minutes of soccer-specific activities

  • Technical development and enhancement of dribbling, passing, and receiving ability under pressure to imitate game like situations.
  • Transition moments through small sided games and numerical advantages and disadvantages like as 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, 3v2, and more expanded numbers on the field.
  • Teaching and enhancing principles of defending and attacking, how to defend, attack, and interact with one or more players.



Option1: MONDAYS - 5 weeks

Dates: 6/15, 6/22, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20 (off week of July 4th)

Speed & Soccer training (u12-U14)

With Director of Sports Performance, Mario Suarez

This five-week Speed & Soccer Clinic combines athletic performance training with technical soccer development. Each session includes:

Focus on general to functional strength for sport and developing proper running and jumping patterns with a progressive development model, helping athletes excel in the sport of their choosing.

Day 2 (Wednesdays): Total Body Power Development

Day 3 (Thursdays): Multi-Directional Based Day

College Prep

(u17+)

With Director of Sports Performance, Mario Suarez

Day 1 (Tuesdays): Speed and Strength and Open Play

  • Players can use their college packets under supervision of Sports Performance Director.
  • If payers do not have college packets, they will be taking through a program created by Sports Performance Director.
  • Session will be 60 minutes of speed and strength, then 30 minutes of open play.
  • This session will be at TOCA Soccer Center - Columbus


Day 2 (Thursdays): Conditioning and Open Play

  • Fitness test preparation
  • Players will go through conditioning to prepare for pre-season and season.
  • Session will be 30-45 minutes of conditioning, and 45 minutes of open play.
  • This session will be at Liberty Park South

Learning, developing and enhancing areas of athletic motor skill competencies, which consist of:

  • Emphasizing neural development 
  • Teaching work ethic, confidence, and character development
